StudySprint AI ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you control it. It complies with Google Play requirements and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, mobile number (for OTP verification).
- Academic profile: student type (school/college/dropper), class, board, goal exam, exam date, daily study hours.
- Study data: subjects, backlog lectures, completion progress, study sessions, AI study plans.
- Screen-time logs: only what you manually enter (e.g. minutes spent on distracting apps). We do not access other apps on your device.
- Device & usage data: browser type, approximate region, anonymous analytics, crash reports.
2. Why we collect it
- To personalize your AI study planner and recommendations.
- To verify your identity and secure your account.
- To send study reminders, streak alerts, and exam countdowns.
- To improve the product and fix bugs.
3. How it is stored
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Database access is controlled by row-level security so other users cannot read your records.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share limited data only with: (a) authentication and infrastructure providers strictly to run the service, and (b) AI model providers to generate your personalized plans — prompts contain only the academic context required.
5. Your rights
- Access and download your data.
- Correct inaccurate information from your Profile page.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
6. Account deletion
Email support@studysprintai.com from your registered address with subject "Delete my account". We will delete your account and study data within 30 days.
7. Children
StudySprint AI is built for students preparing for school and competitive exams. Users under 18 must use the app with a parent or guardian's consent.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app.
